TimeSight Systems’™ Chairman and CEO Charles Foley to Speak at IP-in-Action LIVE Security Technology Forum

Industry leader to present “The New Math: More Cameras + More Resolution + More Retention = Less Infrastructure,” on August 11 at Cityplace Conference Center, Dallas

MT. LAUREL, N.J., August 4, 2009 - TimeSight Systems™, the industry leader in Video Lifecycle Management (VLM), today announced its Chairman and CEO, Charles Foley, will speak at the Video IP-in-Action LIVE Security Technology Forum being held at the Cityplace Conference Center on Tuesday, August 11, in Dallas, Texas.  In a presentation titled “The New Math: More Cameras + More Resolution + More Retention = Less Infrastructure,” Mr. Foley will discuss key industry trends and share insights on how to manage the rapid rise of high resolution cameras along with the increase in requirements on retention time with less infrastructure costs through the practice of Video LifeCycle Management (VLM).

Security experts from TimeSight will also be on hand to demonstrate how the company’s intelligent Network Video Recorders (NVR) address the need for higher video image resolution and longer retention times, while controlling a company's surveillance storage investment.

“The increasing popularity of IP or digital surveillance systems has escalated the costs of storing video due to the high resolution of the images,” said Paul P. Robinson, director of marketing, TimeSight Systems. “We’re solving that problem by combining the latest compression technology with an automated VLM solution that continually reduces the size of stored video over time.”

TimeSight was awarded the Security Industry Association’s “Best Video Device” for its ability to save up to 90 percent of the storage normally required for storing high resolution video surveillance data. The company also recently introduced an Analog Camera Environment (ACe) card that enables the millions of analog security users to benefit from the storage savings associated with VLM.

The IP-in-Action LIVE Security Technology Forum is free to attend and provides an ideal platform for security systems integrators, end-users and consultants to gain valuable knowledge on IP-based Technology. The day includes a number of lectures from experts in addition to hands-on product demonstrations.
